web browsers have been long overdue for a revolution, a disruption of sorts to bring them up to speed with the modern internet era from the time when the internet was mostly full of pages and documents. Opera is looking to take on the task of changing the way we browse the internet on our desktops and laptops with a concept browser dubbed Opera Neon. It is built from the same browser engine that powers the original Opera browser, but is made to allow users to focus on the most important part of the internet- the content. Using a various tricks in its bag, the browser provides interesting and immersive ways to interact with content on the web. You can drag and push things around, and even pop content from the web. In addition, the browser itself looks totally different from all the other web browsers out there for desktops. There is a left sidebar with a video player, image gallery and download manager while on the right of the browser window, tabs are listed with thumbnails that making it easier to distinguish one tab from the other. Moreover, the browser will know the tabs you use the most and float them up on top dynamically while the most rarely used tabs will sink to the bottom. The app allows users to watch videos even when you're on other pages and gives the ability to take a snapshot and crop any part of the web page and save it to the gallery for later use. Yet, the best feature is perhaps the instance of a split-screen mode that allows an user to open and browse two pages simultaneously. The browser is available for free download on Windows and Mac.
